Adi saw Grace for the first time at a hawker centre somewhere in Singapore. Based on her looks, he thought she was a graduate student. She has a penchant of rather formal attire.

She didn’t recall that moment. Perhaps he was just too quiet to be noticed by her, who was new to their church youth community at that time.

Time went on after that brief encounter, and they didn’t really talk to each other even though they were aware of each other’s presence.

Grace came to know that Adi is keeping a blog and she began reading his blog. Their friendship began at the end of 2005, when he noticed her comment on one of his blog’s posts.

He knew that a personality like her must have kept a blog, too. Indeed, his guess was right although she preferred to keep its whereabouts secret.

A secret has its own appeal. Driven by sheer curiosity, he managed to locate her blog and was captivated by its content.

He made the bold request somewhere in 2006, and at the end of 2006 they began their courtship.
